Being thankful for WP Text Ads

July 17th, 2007 at 4:15 pm

It’s been less than 4 months since WP Text Ads was launched. With the launch of WP Text Ads 1.1, advertisers and bloggers now have the Marketplace to find each other, and a set of new features.

WP Text Ads will always stay true to its goal of saving advertisers money while making bloggers more money. I am thankful for the tons of feedback that have been received so far, and they’ve made me even more determined that ever to serve the community.

To give WP Text Ads users even more power, I’m implementing a very simple API. This API will allow any plugin developer the ability to manipulate their ads. For example, you can choose to display the ads in places other than the default sidebar. As a proof of concept application, I am creating a plugin that lets you display ads in RSS feeds. This will give advertisers even more visibility.

I need help!

The major problem I face right now is marketing. I simply cannot find the time to market and develop WP Text Ads at the same time. If you’d like to help make WP Text Ads even more popular, please contact me. We can try to work out a win-win deal.

Having said that, I’ve been fortunate to have received kind reviews from quite a number of people. So if you’d like to read unsolicited (read: unpaid) reviews of WP Text Ads, please visit these links:
