Using Graphics to Attract Text Link Ads Buyers

July 7th, 2007 at 5:47 pm

One of the nice things about using WP Text Ads to sell your ads is that you have total control.

Do you see the WP Text Ads logo at the top of the sidebar on your right? You can use graphics to draw your readers’ attention so that they’ll know you sell ads.

I know this sounds really obvious, but people are really pressed for time, and unless we make it really clear to them that something is there, they may not see it.

This is how you add graphics to your links. For this example, I’ll assume you’re using the widget.

Go to WordPress’s Sidebar Widget Option and find the widget called ‘WP Text Ads: Sell Ads’. Under it’s text option, insert as Title text, where ‘xxx’ is the URL of the graphics. You can hotlink to many free WP Text Ads graphics here, or use your own.

On this blog, I used .

I hope this simple tip will help you sell more ads. :)
