Last year, I embarked on a personal project to gather all my news sources into one page. At that time, I was unaware of those one-page news aggregators. In any case, I wanted to build something that would meet my needs.
I call it News Hawker.
It’s an AJAX-driven site that displays articles from my often-read news sources. I also added a ‘Related News’ link to each article, so that I could see similar news articles.
This project was my first attempt at AJAX, and it helped scratched an itch too. I thought I’d share it with you, in case you find it useful as well.
