That’s right, folks. Another inexplicable error courtsey of WordPress :).
Every page loads perfectly except for Manage → Categories.
Not only would I get the “500 Internal Server Error”, my Debian server would give the following message:
glibc detected *** corrupted double-linked list: 0×08a11520 ***
I figured it couldn’t be my server since everything else worked fine, so it ought to be WordPress.
So I upgraded to 2.1.3 from 2.1 and the problem was solved!
If you are not using WordPress 2.1.3, you ought to consider upgrading. It comes with many bug fixes and security enhancements.
